Swifties, rise! Taylor Swift is taking ‘Midnights’ on the road with U.S. stadium tour dates

After releasing its album, Reputation, through Apple Music, Taylor Swift is on a ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic-style tour: the “Taylor Swifter: On the Road” tour. And if you’ve been around Swifties, you know how much we love seeing her show on the road. She’s touring the United States with this tour for only the second time in her career (the first was in 2007, during her Reputation tour).

And now, after a few days of hype, Taylor Swift has announced that the tour is now taking it to stadiums:

These will also be her first “live shows” as a megastar: Swift isn’t a rock star, even when she is singing her own songs (which is probably a good sign for our safety!).

Taylor Swift is a huge fan of “Midnight’s” song “New Year.” So on her new U.S. tour, she’s touring with it.

“New Year” was last released in 2016, while the album Reputation was released in 2014. It was part of the set list on both albums; it’s the last song that the “Red” singer wrote for Reputation, as her album was set to be “her biggest project to date,” she told the Chicago Tribune in November 2014.

“If this tour means anything, it’s not anything that I’ve had to come up with. I wrote
