The Guns Are Not the Main Problem

Speaking to the L.A. Times, Leslie Jordan was always good for a sassy one-liner, so his comments here should come as no surprise. But just because Jordan is a liberal, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his own thoughts and feelings.

This time around, Jordan expresses his anger at the U.S. for the loss of life in the Orlando shooting.

The point is, the liberal is upset that his fellow American citizens are dying and he doesn’t even understand why.

This is just another example of liberal thinking and that he is not going to get it.

So then, is there any explanation why there is so much gun violence in the USA. To which, Jordan adds this:

I believe you can have a more responsible society and one that is not as violent as the one in many other countries.

So, Jordan believes that guns are not the main problem and that the real threat is people who are too violent.

To which we respond with the following:

Actually, they’re not the main problem, and they certainly are not the solution.

The guns are the main problem, not the problem of people who are too violent.

They are the solution to the problem of people who kill and maim.

If not for the guns, Jordan believes we would have far fewer mass shootings like that one. He believes that people who are violent and want to kill should be separated from the general population, and he thinks there are people in the U.S. who would make sure this happen. Why is Jordan so sure that there are people who would do this? Because he is sure that they exist and he has a list of names for them if he needs them.

It is sad that someone as wise and educated as Jordan is, does not get it. If he doesn’t get it, he must have been brainwashed into thinking it.

The real issue is that Jordan is a liberal, a fact that he himself clearly states on the surface. Yet, he is also someone who believes that violent people who are not connected to society should be separated from
