More antisemitic hate seen in L.A. after Kanye West’s hateful rants
Kanye West was right. A lot of people have been saying the same thing, but not nearly enough people have been doing the deed.
After Kanye West dropped his controversial speech at UCLA last Monday, some people decided to take advantage of what they read and decide to spread their hateful, racist views to many more people.
On Tuesday night, a Jewish couple was murdered in their home in Los Angeles. The FBI is investigating the crime as a hate crime.
“The Jewish Homefront Security Team was notified by FBI of a bomb threat against a Jewish family. Jewish Police and USC Police were immediately involved. The Jewish Homefront Emergency Response Team will stand strong in their efforts to protect Jewish individuals in the community.”
What is a ‘Jewish Homefront Emergency Response Team’? As far as I know, there is no such thing. The closest thing we have to such a thing is a “Jewish Community Police” and the Police Chief of Los Angeles. It is unfortunate that the FBI did not inform the LAPD of this incident and the LAPD did not call them.
Why was a bomb threat against a Jewish family a ‘hate crime’? This is a tough question for me.
Because it is a hate crime? Well, in the same way that a hate crime is defined as anyone who hated someone or anything, this would include anyone that decided to defecate on something that they saw. Or, a gang of people would decide to defecate on Jews or on anyone else. So, I suppose it would make sense to call this a hate crime.
So, that would include a couple of people? I’m not sure. They don’t have a good explanation for the motive. The Jewish Homefront Emergency Response Team have a response of, “They are trying to scare people.”
I’ll take their word for it.
It looks like the ‘hate crime’ against the Jewish couple will be investigated differently than other hate crimes. According to the FBI, the Jewish Homefront Team has jurisdiction over hate
